Listening and Double Reading

Listen to a song and read both the target language and a known language side-by-side.​

Songs are great because they have lots of repetition. The more senses you can engage the better.

Most of the words that I remember in Hungarian are found in a MangoRise song 😆

So what do you use for this?

Tools:​

  • Lyrics Translate
  • Or just copy and paste the entire song into google translate.
  • One of my "proto-products" is just a side by side version of this... you could lookup a song, and then both language translations would be provided for you, and scrolled nicely so you don't have to squint or zoom. Unfortunately this is one of the hundreds of ideas I have... so who know if it will ever come to fruition.
